Went up to the northern Delaware R. stretches this July and October to fish midnight hours. Got one decent Walleye in July and a PB brown trout in October. The brown fought like hell and ended up being 21". Time to pick up fly fishing? hahaha
Daytime fishing included the usual suspects - little smallmouths, fallfish, sunfish, and rock bass.
Also managed to catch a brand new species of fish - a big Gizzard Shad (at least i think that's what this is.) I always thought I saw pairs of shad swimming around in the river in the middle of summer, but i guess what I've been seeing were gizzard shad and not the salty counterpart.
