On Captain Ron's Fishermen of course !! Jumped on board today with Jakesdad Henry and had a great day off of Sandy Hook. Set a goal today to get 'em on Shads, Crocs, Jigs and live-lining - and I succeeded on each :) Everyone caught 'em today and Captain Ron was all smiles :D It's no wonder we saw boats out there from Brooklyn and Southern NJ - Sandy Hook area is loaded with bait and that's where the Stripers are. I accidently snagged a bunker when retrieving my jig; I let it purposely let it swim for a bit and it was soon inhaled by a beauty. I have only one pic to share and eagerly await the numerous pics that Captain Ron will share. I chose not to keep any slot-sized fish today even though boat bonus tags were available. Take what you need and enjoy this great NJ fishing. Get 'em while they're here !
