A mid July day of bucktailing fluke aboard Capt. Allen's Reel Class. The day produced 2 fluke over 7 pounds, 2 over 6 and numerous in the 4-6 class. Everything was taking on bucktails. We didn't drag bait at all that day.

| One of my Best Bass Trips ever came this year aboard Miss Lynn Charters w/ Captain Vito Manzi back in early June. It was a miserable morning but that soon changed as our 4 man charter boated our first Bass within minutes of dropping our Live Bunkers down. We boated 37 Bass, about 20 being over the 20lb mark and catching MY personal best of 27lbs. In the photo is myself, LAB, Pat F. and Ray S.

my first doormat. good enuf for 2nd place. This fish stopped me DEAD on a live herring. I was using a MH 7' Kevin Bogan fiberglass fluke rod and it was bent in half. The mat shook like crazy all the way to the surface. Broken Bobber knew within the first 3 cranks that I had a big fish. He kept telling me to crank slow. He was as anxious as me. caught a 9# and a bunch of 6#ers on the previous monday. best week of fluking ever.

After trolling all day with only one knockdown and no fish we set anchor at about 730 and had fish all night on live squid . By 4 in the morning we were only putting one pole in the water and still ended up wit 38 tuna!

May 12, 2005 – My Dad, brother-in-law, friend Greg and I joined the crew of the Kingfisher III for a shot at live-lining big bass in the northern reaches of Sandy Hook Bay. It took a while to find them but find them we did! Armed with 10/0 circle hooks and a livewell full of huge bunker netted the night before, we used 4 oz sinker to drag those bunkers to hungry bass in 20’ of water resulting in run off after run off. Big bait equals big fish, and this day we proved it.
